Testing a system or application using negative data. (For example testing a password field that requires a mini um of 9 characters by entering a password of 6).

Testing of those requirements that do not relate to functionality, i.e. performance, usability, etc.

A technique for designing relational database tables to minimize duplication of information and, in so doing, to safeguard the database against certain types of logical or structural problems, namely data anomalies.
